No Problem! Your work is AMAZING! I love it all, especially your coloring technique.
Do you have any recommendations for books or other resources that would help me learn how to do this in Adobe Illustrator?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I'm self taught, so I can't really give you specific books. The way I learned to color was to find a colorist that I really admired and then grab some Hi Rez lineart that the colorist did the colors for and try to replicate the style and technique as close as possible.

I found that by doing it this way I was discovering at an accelerated rate what works and what doesn't work. Overtime you will start to develop your own style all together.

As for Illustrator, if you're looking to do Comic Book coloring, it's not the way to go. Illustrator is a vector based program and doesn't offer the robust possibilities that Photoshop has. And if you really want to take your coloring to the next level and get more "painterly" with your technique, you should look into Corel Painter, which is amazing.

If your looking for some free tutorials on comic book coloring, there are a ton on YouTube to get your started.

THANKS SO MUCH for the advice! I can't wait to get started. I don't have Corel Painter so for now I'll have to practice in Photoshop.

Thanks again & I can't wait to see more of your work :)
